Amer Fort

The Amer Fort, also known as Amber Fort, is a majestic fort located in Amer, a town situated 11 kilometers from Jaipur, the capital city of Rajasthan, India. Constructed predominantly with red sandstone and marble, the fort is a stunning blend of Hindu and Mughal architectural styles, reflecting the rich cultural heritage of the region.

This is a stunning garden located within the fort complex, featuring symmetrical arrangements of flowers and plants. It offers panoramic views of the surrounding landscape and the Maota Lake.

Sheesh Mahal (Mirror Palace)

One of the most famous attractions within the fort, the Sheesh Mahal is adorned with intricate mirror work, featuring countless tiny mirrors embedded in the walls and ceilings. When candlelight or sunlight enters the palace, the mirrors create a dazzling effect, giving the palace its name.

Diwan-i-Khas and Diwan-i-Aam

These are the private and public audience halls within the fort, where the kings held court and conducted administrative affairs. The Diwan-i-Khas is notable for its beautiful marble pillars and lattice work.

Ganesh Pol

This is a beautifully decorated gateway that leads to the private palaces of the kings. It is adorned with vibrant frescoes and intricate carvings, including depictions of Lord Ganesh.


Sukh Niwas

Also known as the Hall of Pleasure, Sukh Niwas is a cooling chamber where the kings and their families would retreat during the scorching summer months. The chamber features a unique system of water channels and fountains designed to create a cool and refreshing environment.
