Born in 1969 in Patna, Moitreyee kumar did BFA from College of Arts and Crafts, Patna in 1990. She participated in many exhibitions. She worked with a lot of magazines as a freelance artist for designs and illustrations. India Today, Griha shobha, Sarita, Women’s Era, Champak and more.

As an abstract Artist she captured her surroundings in her paintings. Her artworks got inspired by emotions and rhythms. She has a unique ability to translate the energy, colours, and emotions of her environment into artwork. Her Abstract painting reflects her personal experience.
