The Laparoscopic Surgery (also known as key-hole surgery or minimally invasive surgery) Department is well equipped with the latest technology and excellent infrastructure, supported by a skilled team of experienced surgeons, trained technical staff and nurses. which helps in providing patients with a variety of treatments in the fields of gynecology, gastroenterology and urology. Laparoscopic surgery is a surgical technique in which small (keyhole), narrow instruments (trocars/laparoscope) are inserted into the abdomen through small (less than one centimeter) incisions instead of large cuts.
The surgeon uses these instruments to view, manipulate, cut and sew tissue. Laparoscopic surgery makes use of images displayed on TV monitors to magnify the surgical elements.
